Dr. Hood received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in 1985 and completed a 360 hour post-graduate program in Chiropractic Orthopedics through the Southern California University of Health Sciences in 1992. Dr. Hood was in private practice in Santa Maria, CA, from 1986-1995, at which time she left full-time practice to start a family and stay home with her two sons in their early years. She currently lives in Camarillo and enjoys keeping active with her sons' school and sports programs as well as her own activities including golf, running and competing in 5K/10K races
